BACK TO RESOLUTION
Bay Anders is lost. She enjoys every privilege a wealthy upbringing affords, but the void in her soul refuses to be filled. Her mother’s dying revelation drives Bay to the brink of self destruction, before a move to Australia changes everything. She embarks upon a search for
her father that leads her to his island home, into a hazardous melting pot of hostile locals and a mystery – her father’s disappearance. The only person who can help her is a strong, self-assured and intensely magnetic man. Bay must fight an overwhelming attraction to stay focused on her goal.
Flynn McKenna is hiding from the world. A past filled with mistakes drove him to withdraw from society and live in seclusion. But the arrival of a woman he cannot avoid shatters his solitary existence. As the search for Bay’s father unites them, can he resist his desire for her?
It becomes a race against time as developers try to take over the island.
From the glittering streets of LA, to the beautiful Daintree forest in North Queensland, to the idyllic island ‘Resolution’, Back to Resolution is a romantic mystery that shows how far a little faith can go.

I love hearing how the Lord led us all into the writing sphere! Step by step, it dawns on us that we really are story-tellers even before we hold that first published book in our hands! And your soon-to-be-released novel sounds like a truly fascinating story, Rose.
ReplyDeleteGreat first post, Rose. I love hearing the stories behind the stories.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it wonderful how God can use anything we do, for His glory?
Congratulations on your first novel. I can't wait to get my hands on it. :)
I love it when it dawns on us that rather than being pure self-indulgence, fiction writing is actually God's heart and plan for us. The love of it is just one of His signs that we're meant to.
ReplyDeleteLovely cover. Rose, would you consider a 'book swap' with me? I ask everyone.
I have often heard (or read) that the best writing comes from writing what we ourselves would like to read. :) YOur new book sounds like it has a great start already.
ReplyDeleteI'm curious to know what you're writing now that Back to Resolution is out of your heart.
Yet another book to add to my list. It sounds like you write what I love to read. Thanks for sharing with us. :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great read. Looking forward to getting a copy in November. I love that you write from the heart with God leading the way.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your novel... I look forward to reading it. xx
ReplyDeleteWell done Rose. Enjoyed hearing the old but new truths of God's amazing adventures - the ones He takes us on when we say 'Yes, Lord'. Thanks for sharing and enjoy the writing adventure! :)
ReplyDeleteIt’s a strange feeling waiting for that novel to come out – a kind of limbo, especially as it also incorporates a huge learning curve. So thank you all for your comments and encouragement. Paula – I would love to do a book exchange with you – we must get in touch via other means to communicate more on it. And Penny, I always planned three books in a series – I have finished the second manuscript that is a run on story from Back to Resolution, and it will be up to Rochelle if she wants to pick it up. I have also started on the third story. I can’t let my characters go just yet. xo
ReplyDeleteGreat post, and congratulations on your release! I love it that you can't let your characters go! A true sign they've more to say and do. Looking forward to reading it and more of what's to come in the days ahead! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Rose Dee,
ReplyDeleteI think waiting is the hardest part of writing. All the best with your book.
