I find those wise men so interesting--I must delve into their background more in the new year, as well as read 'wisely', as they seem to have done. God bless you too this Christmas and throughout 2017. Makes you respect those wise men even more for being as learned as they were, with the resources they had. Good on you for tracking your books. Like you, I aim for 50ish as a baseline, or a book a week depending on their thickness.Paula Vincehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02079952414990463270noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2208627029605402728.post-18067605443450829162016-12-12T07:58:07.882+10:002016-12-12T07:58:07.882+10:00What a beautiful post Paula. I wonder what Mary and Joseph said to each other when the kings left. It must have all been so bewildering but also awe inspiring. I loved how you reminded us what made the kings so wise. They were readers! Of course! May we all choose our reading wisely and be a great deal wiser at the end of 2017! This year, for the first time, I kept track of my reading and find I have read 48 books so far - and should be 50 by year's end. Not too bad! Finding reading material in the old days would have been much more difficult than it is for us today so those wise men did very well I reckon! :)Anusha Atukoralahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00859837228901127984noreply@blogger.com
