I've just recently made the plunge from working full-time (after 24 years) to working three days a week, specifically so that I could spend the other two days writing. God's been opening doors, but I've already been learning that I need to seek him in all I'm doing. It would be easy to fill those two extra days up with stuff that I didn't need to be doing and not have time for the things God is calling me to do. He's the one who gives us our giftings, but we still need to seek him and develop what he's given.
